FEATURES

The primary function of a normally open DC contactor is to control the flow of current in a DC circuit. When a control signal is applied, the contactor closes, allowing current to flow and energize the connected load. This mechanism is particularly useful in motor starting applications, where the ability to control power is critical. By using a normally open DC contactor, operators can effectively manage the starting and stopping sequence of the motor, ensuring smooth operation and reducing the risk of equipment damage.
